Overview
Although the salon’s interior and daily operations are similar to those of a traditional hair salon, we specialize in medical wigs and removable breast prostheses.
We welcome customers by appointment only in private fitting booths, providing a comfortable and discreet environment.
There are no sales turnover quotas, and the risk of hand irritation from shampooing hair is minimal. By working one-on-one with each customer, you can build a rewarding career as a specialist, providing personalized wig styling and cutting, fitting, and maintenance for high-quality Japanese wigs—and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

No Wig Industry Experience Required — Beginners Welcome!

Working Hours

・40 Hours per Week — Shift-Based Schedule
・110 Days Off per Year
Working Hours: 9:50 AM – 7:20 PM, Monday through Sunday, including public holidays.
Break: 1 hour and 30 minutes (a full break is provided!)
Overtime is Rare.
You may also switch to part-time employment after joining the company.

Job Description
[Full-Time]
・Stylist
- General salon duties (reception, treatments, consultations, etc.)
- Wig cutting, coloring, and maintenance; natural hair cutting and coloring, etc.
- Breast prosthesis consultations (advice and try-ons)
・Customers who come in for a consultation will have the opportunity to try on our
“Real Leaf” breast prosthesis.
・For custom-made orders, you will use a 3D scanner to take the customer’s measurements.
*Please note: Scanning takes approximately 5 minutes and is performed by female stylists only.
What You Should Know
The skills required are similar to those used in a traditional hair salon. You will support the store manager and other stylists in daily salon operations.
・Store Manager Candidate
- Provide stylist services, train and develop staff at your assigned salon, manage staff schedules, and monitor sales performance.
Career Path to Store Manager
- You’ll first build your knowledge of medical wigs and develop your wig-cutting skills. Then, you’ll learn the responsibilities of store management and take on the role of managing the salon.
・Manager Candidate
- Perform stylist duties, oversee store managers across multiple locations, train and develop staff, monitor sales performance, and plan business strategies.
Career Path to Manager
You’ll first develop your knowledge of medical wigs and master wig-cutting techniques. You’ll then receive training in store management and managerial responsibilities before taking on the role of overseeing multiple salon locations.

- Our specialized team in Japan will provide thorough, hands-on training from the basics, including wig-cutting techniques and the fitting of artificial breasts. No prior wig industry experience is required, so beginners are welcome to apply with confidence.

・Wig cutting, shampooing, and other services, just like in a hair salon.
- General salon duties (reception, treatments, consultations, etc.)
- Wig cutting and coloring, wig maintenance, and cutting and coloring clients’ natural hair, etc.
・Wig maintenance and coloring only (for those who cannot cut hair)

Salary

・Stylist
$2,945 per month and up ($2,880 during the 3-month probationary period) + tips + incentives
*One Step operates on an appointment-only basis and offers a fixed salary (plus various allowances), so you won't have to worry about sales quotas.
*Rather than serving customers in a rushed, assembly-line manner, you can take the time to focus on each customer and provide personalized service.
-Reference Menu Prices: Haircut $41~, Color $31~
[Part-Time]
・Hourly pay: $16 and up (hourly rate of $○○ during the 3-month probationary period)
Both full-time and part-time employees may receive special bonuses for meeting monthly or annual sales targets.
・Saturday and Sunday shifts: +$1/hour.
Days Off

・Two days off per week (shift-based schedule).
Regular closing days vary by salon location.
・9–10 days off per month (depending on the shift schedule, some public holidays may also be days off).
・Summer and winter holidays, including the New Year holiday period.
*Weekends off may be arranged for weddings and other important family or personal occasions.
